MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — U.S. Bank has been declared as the naming-rights accomplice for the prospective Vikings stadium in Minneapolis, as indicated by a report.
The Sports Business Journal, refering to mysterious sources, says the stadium will be called U.S. Bank Stadium, making it the fourth NFL office to have a bank in its title.
It would likewise be the second stadium in the Twin Cities metro region with a bank in its name, after TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota grounds.
The arrangement, as per the report, is worth $220 million through the span of a quarter century.
The Journal says the arrangement won’t be authoritatively reported until June 22.
WCCO contacted both U.S. Bank and the Minnesota Vikings, and they both declined to reply.
