Japan goes along with US-Australian military practice in July for first time

Japanese troops will join in a noteworthy US-Australian military activity without precedent for July, as Washington hopes to fortify connections among its partners even with an inexorably confident China.

Japan’s ground self-preservation power – its armed force – will send 40 staff to take part in Talisman Saber, a two-yearly bore that starts on 7 July, which will include around 27,000 administration men and ladies, a Japanese government representative said.

“We will take part in joint activities with the US marines, instead of working straightforwardly with the Australian military,” he said.

“Anyway, our interest is seen as a major aspect of endeavors” to fortify barrier ties in the middle of Japan and Australia.
